After you have run IncrediUninstaller, your home page in Internet
Explorer will be changed back to MSN.com to completely remove
Incredimail®. Follow the instructions below to change your home
page in Internet Explorer. There are also instructions for changing the
search engine used by Search Companion and Internet Explorer 7,8, and 9.
I've
also included instructions below to help you change your home page and
default search engine in Firefox and Google Chrome as well.
NOTE:

Change Home Page in Internet Explorer
For Internet Explorer 7, 8, and 91) Click on the Tools menu, Click on Internet Options

In the Home Page box, type the web page address that you want for your
home page. If you want the page that you are currently viewing as your
home page, then just click the Use Current button.
4) Click Ok
For Internet Explorer 5 and 61) Click on the Tools menu, Click Internet Options
2) Click on the General tab.

In the Address box, type the web page address that you want for your
home page. If you want the page that you are currently viewing as your
home page, then just click the Use Current button
4) Click Ok
Change Home Page in Firefox
1) Click on the Tools menu in Firefox
2) Click on Options
3) Click on the Main tab at the top

Find the Homepage section and type the URL of your home page. For
example for MSN.com, you would type http://www.msn.com in the homepage
field
5) Click Ok
Change Home Page in Google Chrome
1) Click on the Settings option (the wrench or the three horizontal lines) in Chrome. Generally this is in the upper right corner of the Chrome window.
2) Click on Settings
3) On the next screen, Find Settings in the left hand column and click on it.
4) In the right hand column, find On Startup
5)
Choose "Open a specific page or set of pages" and then click "set pages"
6)
Type the URL of the home page you want For
example for MSN.com, you would type http://www.msn.com in the blank.
You may also delete any URLs that are listed here by clicking the
X on the right side of the selection.
Change the Search Companion in Internet Explorer 5 and 6
When
you click on the Search button in Internet Explorer, it opens a program
called the Search Companion on the left side of the browser. Follow
these instructions to change the search engine that is used here.
1) Click the Search button in IE to open the Search Companion on the left hand side of the browser.
2) Above the Search button, you'll see a "Change Preferences" option. Click on it.
3) Click on the option for "Change Internet Search Behavior"
4) Under the heading "Select the default search engine", click and highlight the search engine you wish to use
5) Click Ok

Finally, click the X to the right of the heading Search Companion on
the left side of the screen to close the Search Companion.
Change the Search Option in Internet Explorer 7, 8, or 9
1) Open Internet Explorer 7
2) Click on Tools, Internet Options
3) Click on the General tab
4) Click on the Settings button to the right of Search in the column
5) Click on the Search Engine you wish to use
6) Choose Setup as Default
6) Click Close to exit back to Internet Explorer
Change the Search Companion in Firefox
1) Open Firefox
2) In the Address bar at the top type the following and press Enter
About:Config
3) In the filter box at the top, type the following and press Enter
MyStart
4) You should see 4 lines
browser.search.defaultenginename
browser.search.SelectedEngine
browser.startup.Homepage (may not be present)
Keyword.URL
5) Double-click on the first two lines, when the dialog box appears type Google in the box and click Ok.

Double-click on the browser.startup.homepage item and type the URL that
you would like for your homepage, such as http://www.google.com and
click OK
7) Double-click on the Keyword.URL line and type the following in the box then click ok
http://www.google.com.my/search?q=
8) Close Firefox and reopen, your homepage and search features should now be Google
Change the Default Search Engine in Google Chrome
1) Click on the Settings option (the wrench) in Chrome
2) Click on Settings
3) On the next screen, Find Settings in the left hand column and click on it.
4) In the right hand column, find Search
5)
Click the dropdown box next to Search and click on the search engine
you wish to use. You may also click on Manage Search Engines and choose
one from the list or delete any from the list.
